Variety reports that former Homel& executive producer Ron Nyswaner will be adapting the book for TV & he will also serve sầu as the series" showrunner and executive sầu producer.
Fellow Travelers follows a love story which begins in the McCarthyism era và concludes during the AIDS epidemic.
It centres on the romance of Hawkins "Hawk" Fuller (who will be played by Bomer) và Tyên Kovacs as they overcome the obstacles of the times và themselves.
The series will be directed by Michael Grandage, who will also serve sầu as an executive producer alongside Robbie Rogers.
Grandage is currently directing My Policeman, starring Harry Styles và Emma Corrin, which has Nyswaner writing the screenplay and Rogers producing.

The film is adapted from the novel by Bethan Roberts, and will see Harry và Emma as Tom và Marion, a couple whose lives are turned upside down by a visit from a mystery guest.
Their story begins in the 1990s with the arrival of an elderly man into the couple"s home which will trigger the exploration of "seismic events from 40 years previous".
Tom & Marion"s guest is soon revealed as Patrick, Tom"s former lover from a time when same-sex relationships between men were illegal.

Bomer was also recently announced to star in a new Netflix limited series from 13 Reasons Why showrunner Brian Yorkey, titled Echoes.
American Horror Story: Double Feature airs on FX in the US and will arrive sầu in October on Disney+ in the UK. Catch up on series 1-8 on Netflix, with seasons 1-9 available to lớn buy on Amazon Prime Video.
