Roy Wang (Chinese: 王源; pinyin: Wángyuán) (born November 8, 2000) is a Chinese singer, songwriter và actor. He is a member of teenage idol group, TFBOYS, which debuted on August 6, 2013.

Personal life
Roy Wang is of Han ethnicity, with ancestry from Shaanxi. He was born in Chongqing, China.
Roy Wang is currently a high school year 1 student (2019 batch) at the prestigious Chongqing Nankai Secondary School (high school), one of the vị trí cao nhất high schools in China. Pre-debut (2011 to lớn 2013)
In November 2011, Roy Wang was talent-scouted & passed the auditions to lớn enter TF Entertainment as a TF Family trainee. As a trainee, he started appearing in TF Family"s self-produced variety shows, which had segments for dialogues, short plays, games, etc., & eventually became the emcee for segments "TF Family Press Conference" and his monologue "Yuan says so". In November 2013, TF Entertainment created a new website variety show "TF Teens GO!" starring TFBOYS & fellow trainees. Solo works
At the tender age of 14, Roy has started writing songs và so far two were released. Roy was one of six Chinese delegates to attend the Sixth United Nations Economic và Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth forums held between 30 & 31 January 2017 in the United Nations headquarters. During the forum, he spoke to the 500 international young leaders in English about the issue he is concerned with, "Quality Education".
On 11 March 2017, the 7th National Green Plants Adoption for College Students campaign announced Roy Wang as their ambassador. This is organized by Sina weibo together with Communist Youth League of china to encourage building a green environment.
